How my journey began
My fascination with reborn dolls started roughly twelve years ago as an avid collector. I purchased my first reborn doll, and soon another followed, and another. Captivated by the artistry, I decided to try my hand at the craft myself. What began as a personal curiosity quickly blossomed into a profound artistic passion that has defined my creative life ever since.
A passion for perfection and detail
When I create a baby, I always wait for a vivid vision or idea to completely take hold before I pick up a brush. Once that inspiration flows naturally, the art comes alive effortlessly. As a natural perfectionist with an eye for minute nuances, I meticulously balance the skin tone, delicate mottling, realistic weighting, and hair rooting so that every doll captures the authentic warmth and presence of an actual infant.
The heartwarming story behind 909
People often ask where the name comes from. When my grandson was young, he experienced some speech difficulties, and found it difficult to say "gramma." Instead, he learned our house address and affectionately began calling me "909." Henceforth "Reborn Babies by 909" was born, and to this day I am still proudly known as 909!
